What a match looks like.
How a match works
- Prepare. Every player starts with a stronghold, six citizens and the same supplies on their own island. Build homes, foragers, timber camps and quarries beside connected paths.
- Arm. A war camp trains club warriors, an archery range trains slingers and a healer lodge trains herbalists. Each soldier takes one citizen, so grow your population first.
- Sail. A coastal dock builds reed canoes that carry eight troops. Press Launch invasion once the preparation period ends: troops board, the canoe sails to the enemy shore and the camera follows them ashore.
- Win. Capture every enemy stronghold, or hold out until they surrender. Allies share sight and win together. Watchtowers and held troops defend your own coast.
Controls at a glance
- Build. Open Build, pick a card and click your island beside a connected path. Drag Paths from the stronghold ring; every building needs a path.
- Gatherers. You start with two. Select them and right-click or tap a tree for wood or a rock for stone; they carry loads back to the stronghold. Recruit more by tapping the stronghold.
- Troops. Military recruits warriors, slingers and herbalists. Command troops: drag a box to select, right-click or tap to move or attack, Hold to defend. Slingers keep their distance from warriors on their own.
- Invasion. Build a canoe dock on the coast, then a reed canoe. After the preparation timer, press Launch invasion: troops board, the canoe sails, the camera follows and your troops land beside the enemy stronghold.
- Teams. Players on one team are allies: they share sight, cannot hurt each other and win together. Everyone else is an enemy. Pick teams in the lobby before pressing ready.
- Leaving. Leave and keep your seat to return later, or forfeit to drop out and start another game. Players away ten minutes can be removed by anyone still playing.
The arena canister validates every build, recruitment, movement and attack and only shows you what your team's troops and buildings can see. Refreshing the page or losing connection never erases a settlement. A player absent for ten minutes can be removed by anyone still playing.
